Chris Grossnicklaus is Healthcare Sector Leader and Director of Healthcare Planning for Corgan. He is responsible for establishing long-lasting relationships with clients and partners as well as leading Corgan’s healthcare studios across the country. He has deep experience in all phases of project work, from concept visioning and development through final construction documents on a wide range of project experience in the United States, Canada, and the Middle East.
Prior to his promotion to Healthcare Sector Leader, Chris served as Principal and Director of Business Development. Chris joined Corgan in 2017 and has gained the trust of and partnered with a variety of healthcare systems to develop impactful spaces for staff, patients, and their families. His strengths as a strategist and relationship builder make him an invaluable leader of the Corgan’s Healthcare Sector, overseeing projects for UT Southwestern Medical Center, Methodist Health System, OSF Healthcare, HCA Healthcare Behavioral Health Hospitals, Saint Francis Health System, Houston Methodist, the Mayo Clinic and UCLA Health.
Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Master of Architecture from Texas A&M University and is Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. He served as chair of the communications committee for the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) of North Texas from 2019 to 2020; he received the Texas Society of Architects Associate Award and the AIA Dallas Associate Award for his contributions as editor of AIA Dallas Columns magazine.
