David Euscher

Vice President, Interiors Studio Leader
Houston, Texas USA
David is drawn to both the beauty and complexity of architecture. It’s a passion that began at a young age, when he found himself interested in art and science, and was inspired to combine the two. As vice president and interiors studio leader, David has found his sweet spot leading a team of talented interior designers as a coach and mentor — a task he also sees as equal parts art and science and one that can have a powerful effect. “There is a kind of magic that happens when a group of people come together to solve a problem or create something new,” he says. “What can be created together is more impactful than what one can create alone.”
With 29 years of experience, David has designed and led interior projects for corporate commercial, multi-family, academic, retail, and healthcare clients — among others. Regardless of the sector, he approaches each project with a desire to improve the well-being of the people served by the space. David does this by learning all he can about the client, their context, culture, and aspirations. “We take them through a series of exercises that help us uncover — with them — the issues they are facing and how the workplace can respond to those challenges,” he says. “We listen, and we engage.” David’s thoughtful approach has led to exceptional results for clients facing all types of circumstances, including navigating the challenges of the pandemic to develop a new workspace and designing a multi-faith chapel with several faith traditions in mind.
David always makes time for art, music, performing arts, and food from different cultures. As a former musician, he says music has a special place in his life. “I enjoy live music, especially when my children are the ones performing,” David says.
