Mariju is passionate about interior design. With approximately 25 years of experience focused on interior design and sustainability, she delights in the discovery process and working closely with clients to deliver quality projects while staying true to design principles. As a leader in the Interiors Studio, Mariju is committed to building a strong project base to establish Corgan’s presence in the Houston market.

Her deep interest and broad experience in corporate interiors, hospitality, education, and technology make her a valuable asset to the Interiors Studio. Mariju believes that intentional design creates empathetic spaces where people feel they belong. “I am drawn to the interior portions of a building as they remain close to the human scale where changes in details, lighting, and materiality reside within visual reach,” she explains.

To relax, Mariju works in clay and watercolor which she says is the perfect way to detach from the need to be precise. “Art provides me the opportunity to create and appreciate life’s little imperfections.”
