The red rabbit sculpture, “Leap,” suspended from the ceiling in Sacramento Airport’s Terminal B adorns one of Bryan’s most memorable projects. “I enjoy coordinating spaces for public art, and Sacramento Terminal B highlights how design can be leveraged to provide a consistent experience with moments of surprise for the traveling public,” he says. “The successful integration of both art and architecture results in a greater public appreciation for the experience of both.”
As a leader in Corgan’s aviation practice for more than 25 years, Bryan focuses on technical design, creating unique solutions to enhance the airport experience comes naturally to Bryan who has a talent for understanding passenger needs. “I’m intrigued by references to the Golden Age of Travel when the journey was as important as the destination,” he says. “The spaces we design can foster a greater return on investment when they represent our client’s vision and brand.” Bryan sits in the firm’s Chicago office where he is part of the team for the new international terminal at Chicago O’Hare International Airport.
In his spare time, Bryan loves gardening and joining his family in supporting organizations that elevate the less fortunate in his community. “I enjoy watching change unfold throughout all of life’s seasons.”
