A Corganite of nearly 25 years, Bob leads design efforts for the Aviation Studio on various project types, including terminals, support facilities, campus planning, baggage system designs, and customs and border protection facilities. His strengths are combining an in-depth understanding of aviation operations and technology to create engaging, flexible design solutions.
His projects involve data-driven design based on feasibility analysis, architectural programming, facility demand/capacity analysis, and operational planning, with a focus on the passenger experience. His broad accomplishments include complex projects at DFW Airport, the Love Field Modernization Program, Abu Dhabi Terminal 1, and concourse expansions at Houston Hobby and Chicago O-Hare International Airports.
Bob has witnessed significant changes in the industry and looks forward to the day when technology reaches the point where airport security becomes almost invisible. “Moving through security as a seamless process will not only improve the passenger experience but has the potential to bring back some of the romance in airline travel.”
