Casual design appeals to the new way of banking
Appreciating our long-standing relationship, Global Credit Union partnered with Corgan to renovate an existing branch with the goal of incorporating the Global Credit Union brand standards with modern aesthetics to elevate the member experience and foster connection. Ushering in a new style of banking to appeal to a diverse clientele and enroll new members, the branch aimed to transform the brick-and-mortar building into a casual, welcoming atmosphere featuring various seating zones to engage and interact more effectively with customers.
Friendly and inviting
In response to the evolving banking landscape, the design seeks to blend hospitality-inspired elements and bold branding to create an inviting banking atmosphere. The open layout is defined by strategic use of materials, guiding wayfinding and accentuating the freedom of choice in seating arrangements. A generous harmony of patterns, textures, and accent branding colors creates an engaging space that strengthens member loyalty and invites customers to stop by and enjoy all the branch has to offer.
Building relationships, connecting community
The space marks a departure from the traditional banking experience emphasizing choice, comfort, and flexibility to personalize the experience. The design minimizes the prominence of teller counters, instead offering various seating arrangements for mobile tellers equipped with laptops to move freely throughout the branch, to connect face-to-face with customers. Residential-inspired lounges, private booths, and comfortable offices provide various spaces for members to conduct their banking business. A spacious multi-flex room provides a meeting place for the public inviting members of the community attend outreach programs and finance courses, fostering a loyal customer base and community connection.
