State Farm still believes in CityLine
State Farm plans to continue to invest in its offices at CityLine as the campus' developer looks to bring fresh momentum to the Richardson mixed-use hub.
The insurance firm occupies four towers in the 186-acre development and aims to renovate the 20th and 21st floors of its second building. A State Farm spokesperson confirmed to Dallas Business Journal that the renovations are meant for its team and aim to "modernize and adapt the space for the changing needs of its workforce." More than 11,000 State Farm employees work in the CityLine buildings.
Work on the property is estimated to cost $6 million and will include demolition and construction work to update the interior, according to planning documents filed with the state. The renovations are scheduled to begin in December and could be completed in May 2025. Corgan will serve as the design firm on the project.
