Regina Stamatiou
Vice President, Project Manager
Houston, Texas USA
Creating beautiful spaces comes naturally to Regina, who serves as the Commercial Studio leader in Houston. As a child of Greek parents, Regina traveled to Greece often, touring archaeological sites and museums to gain a greater appreciation of her Greek heritage. Her exposure to ancient culture and history not only instilled in her an abiding appreciation of her ancestry but also heightened her sensitivity to aesthetics and placemaking. “I love contemporary buildings, but when in Athens, I embrace classical architecture and history and their influence on the urban and aesthetic development of the city, lending richness to the experience.”
In her nearly two decades with Corgan, Regina has gained experience across multiple project scales, with a focus on ground-up and re-positioning projects. Regina provides the day-to-day coordination of design teams and directs all phases of a project, from hands-on design direction to client and contractor communication. Her past work spans the workplace headquarters for Toyota North America, the Harwood No. 14 high-rise tower in Uptown Dallas, and specialty projects like the Botanical Research Institute of Texas.
Regina is still an avid traveler and prefers exploring places on foot to better understand the character of a place. From poking around in her college town of St. Louis to traveling across Japan or navigating small villages in the Greek countryside, Regina is passionate about discovering the uniqueness found in each location.
