David’s work with Corgan spans nearly four decades. He is currently focused on our Higher Education Team, building relationships with clients across virtually every higher education project type. Deeply committed to discovering hidden stories and the context behind each site, David approaches architecture as a collaborative art that encourages input from diverse disciplines. “I am drawn to working with passionate, committed people who are experts in their field, motivated by a higher purpose — higher education is where these folks live.”
David’s notable clients include numerous public and private institutions including Texas A&M, the University of North Texas, Dallas College, Panola College, Collin College, Texas State Technical College, the Dallas Holocaust Museum, and the Sixth Floor Museum. Additionally, David is active with the Texas A&M University Department of Architecture Advisory Council, a Board Member of AIA Dallas and the Dallas Center for Architecture Foundation, and a graduate of the Business Council for the Arts Leadership Arts Institute. In 2006, he was recognized as the Young Architect of the Year by the Dallas AIA and was honored by Corgan with the Phil Mein Design Excellence Award. David is a visiting critic and juror for design studios and serves as a mentor for architectural students and interns, lecturing on topics of design and professional space.
