AUH Terminal 1 Refurbishment and Concessions

Designing terminal peak performance for Abu Dhabi.
Corgan provided terminal planning and design expertise to the Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) as part of a multi-firm consulting services assignment. 

Corgan also provided concept development and project definition for various near-term capital projects included in ADAC’s Capacity Enhancement Program (CEP), which provide interim capacity until the opening of the Midfield Terminal Complex. As part of this task, Corgan was responsible for coordinating the work of various consultants and performing analysis of peak hour demand as well as projected flight schedules to establish the necessary facility requirements. This task also required extensive programming sessions with a diverse stakeholder group – airport operations, airline management, and ground handling provider – to build consensus for the proposed scope of work. 

Corgan prepared architectural project definition packages for use by follow-on design professionals for later implementation.
