Sean Kim Nickerson

Before setting his sights on interior design, Sean traveled the world as a Broadway dancer. When not performing on stage, he toured museums, observing the power of architectural design in cultures. When it came time to transition from a performer, he wanted to be part of a creation that inspired the same “wow and wonder” as the stage and decided to pursue design. “I love how we create an experience in cafes, restaurants, hotels, airports, and train stations,” he effuses, “I am a “wow” junkie!”

As a leader, Sean is responsible for the technical aspects of project design as well as the day-to-day coordination with his team. “I'm part cheerleader/part mentor by creating a safe space where ideas can evolve into great design solutions.” With more than a decade of experience in commercial, healthcare, education, and aviation, Sean’s passion is helping clients flourish by listening to their hopes and dreams, challenges, and failures.

His fresh bold approach to solution-based design is driven by approaching a space holistically. “We research the data and through alchemy, we ultimately transform our client’s needs into an environment that reflects who they are and who they want to be —translating "aha" moments into WOW! spaces.”
