Denison ISD partnered with Corgan over a decade ago to develop a long-term facilities plan to prepare for the future of the district. With an increase in enrollment, the district saw need to move forward with the second phase of the facilities plan to focus on growth at the elementary school level.
Denison ISD tasked Corgan with conducting a capacity analysis of schools and 10-year capacity outlook along with various (site-fit) options. Corgan assisted in leading a facilities planning committee of parents, teachers and community members through bond program development. The committee presented their bond program recommendation to the board of trustees for additions to two elementary schools, which would allow the district to utilize existing infrastructure. Corgan’s internal communication’s team then developed a communications strategy for voter education including branding, messaging and all collateral development.
The bond program included renovations and expansions to Mayes Elementary School and Hyde Parking Elementary School to accommodate current and future growth.
