Samantha works to elevate data-driven design around the human experience – identifying trends in emerging technologies and where they intersect with evolving human behaviors. Visualizing the future has been her passion since she was nine years old when she watched an animation produced by Corgan for DFW Airport, knowing immediately that creative thinking was in her future. She is now realizing her lifelong dream, working with teams to give design a purpose through data-driven research.
From designing spaceports and urban air mobility to researching how we can use our sense of smell as a design tool, Samantha stretches the boundaries of design research. She spearheads the annual Curiosity Report where she works with innovators across multiple industries to identify Corgan’s role in emerging markets. She is currently enrolled in courses at Stanford University for Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies to better understand how future projections can inform the work we do.
In her downtime, she enjoys painting, sculpture, and traveling the world to immerse herself in different cultures. “One of the most powerful things you can do during the innovation process is to talk to other people. When we expand our perspectives, we are more likely to identify more inclusive and innovative opportunities that we didn’t know existed.”
